Robbie Savage has officially taken over as head coach of Peterborough, a League One club fighting relegation.

Savage departs from his position with National League outfit Forest Green Rovers, having inked an extended deal with Posh, who sit second-to-last in the standings and parted ways with Luke Williams last month. This marks his initial engagement in the Football League since hanging up his boots in 2011, and Savage expressed his eagerness to demonstrate his capabilities to skeptics.
